Independence Day Celebration, July 5th! The Vermont Chamber of Commerce has declared the Brandon Independence Day Parade Celebration as one of the Top Ten Events of the summer! It lives up to that reputation! The parade begins at 1 but the park opens at 9am for activities, games, music and food. The fiddler's contest is held in the park following the parade and fireworks light up the sky at dusk. If you haven't experienced a real ol' fashioned 4th of July....Join us. October 4, 2008: Brandon Harvestfest: Come make Harvest People (aka stick figures, scarecrows, leaf people...). All the materials are supplied. It's a great way to be creative and let your imagination run wild. Choose clothes, hat, shoes and embellishments to personalize your own "Person." Our "experts" will help with the finishing touches too.
